Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

When adults read or do something at home, they tend to do it in a cozy comfortable chair. While learning, I want my students to be as comfortable as they can be. While being comfortable, they will be able to retain the knowledge and stay focused while learning new skills.

When I pull my small groups, students run into the room to be able to get the best chair.

I currently have 4 chairs that the students always want to sit in. I would like 4 additional chairs, so that way when I pull my small groups, each student is able to sit in a chair that they want.

I want my students to be able to pick which type of seat and where they want to sit. By having the students take ownership and allowing them to pick between different chairs in the classroom, they will be more engaged in the lesson.
