My Students
As a teacher in a therapeutic learning environment, it is essential for me to provide my students with the tools they need to find success both in school and out in the real world. Our school is a small educational setting with a therapeutic component designed for students with varying emotional and behavioral difficulties. These varying needs impact our students school success. Through our individualized program, we are able to provide students with positive behavior supports and a plethora of tools in order to help them achieve their maximum learning potential.
My Project
Alternative Learning Programs are giving students the opportunity to succeed through providing them with an education specifically tailored to their individual needs. This year our school has received an influx of students with varying needs causing us to require more technology in our classrooms. Through receiving these Chromebooks, students will have access to a computer to complete their school work throughout the course of the school day. Aside from work completion, our students will be more engaged in classroom activities and teachers will be able to create more engaging and technology-friendly lessons. The use of technology in the classroom will help to maximize each individual student's learning potential.
