"It is not what technology does to us, it is what we do to technology. Get smart with technology, choose wisely and use it in a way that benefits both you and those around you." Through this project we hope to encourage classroom engagement and to help our students develop 21st century skills.

My Project
Through acquiring these materials, students at S. Academy will gain real-world 21st century experience. They will gain a stronger understanding of the ever-changing technology in the world around them. Through the use of the Chromebooks, students at S. Academy will be able to complete research based assignments, as well as group projects that require the use of technology. Students at S. Academy will be given the opportunity to expand their knowledge and understanding of the world around them through gaining access to current and up-to-date information and technology.
The donations for this project will vastly improve our school environment, as well as our individual classroom environments.
Through receiving the Chromebooks and adding technology to our classrooms, students will be more engaged in classroom activities. In addition to students becoming more engaged, teachers will be able to create more engaging and technology-friendly lessons for students. The use of technology in the classroom will help to maximize each individual student's learning potential.
