My Project

This year on the first day of school I asked them what topics or genres they would enjoy reading! The list they gave me was amazing! They want to see themselves in the books. What did that mean? That meant they wanted characters with their same ethnicity, characters that looked like them, and they wanted to see things their families watched together in the classroom.

Help me bridge the home to our school while also making these 8th grade students feel represented!
