My Students

My students are eager to learn but unfortunately, they do not have the full support to be able to thrive. They go through dramatic events both at home and school but they are special in their own way.

My students are in an urban, city neighborhood.

The school is a tier 1 school with a lot of the students having issues with their academics.

My Project

A lot of my students' families are not able to give their children the basic school supplies needed for daily use. With your help, I can ensure that they have what is needed without the stress of worrying their parent/guardian. Some of the items (folders, paper, book) are for me to get myself prepared for finally going back in the school building next fall. I want to be able to use this project to make my students feel comfortable in the classroom by having what they need during the day. It is a great way to have unity in the classroom.
