My Project
In second grade at our school we get 3 recesses; however, we have no equipment for them to use. We have found that in the last year there have been more negative behaviors with a lack of equipment.
Playground equipment will help focus energy in a positive way, foster social skills, and promote healthy habits.
With the addition of various balls, jump ropes, and frisbees, we can help give them options during recess while encouraging teamwork and social skills. By doing this we hope to see a decrease in undesired behaviors and an increase in focus and attention in the classroom.
