Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work at a Title I school where all students receive free breakfast and lunch and is made up of more than a 90% minority. Our school helps our students with school supplies, backpacks, school uniforms, and food.
Our students love to play soccer, football, and basketball.
Students need lots of time to run, jump, play, and expend energy outside. Parents' help their kids as much as possible; however, it is not always enough. These footballs, hoops, volleyballs, playground balls, basketballs, and soccer balls will be used by my students during their recess time.
When students have time to play, it clears their brains and helps them to be focused in the classroom.
