Enhancing Student Engagement with Hands-On Chemistry!
Help me give my students a hands on experience that brings since to life, a classroom with essential lab materials, allowing my students to conduct real experiments, develop critical thinking skills, and cultivate a lasting passion for science.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
In my classroom, hands-on learning is essential, especially in science. My students are eager to explore chemistry, but without the proper materials, they miss out on the excitement of real experiments. When they can see chemical reactions firsthand, mix solutions, and test hypotheses, their curiosity and understanding grow exponentially. Unfortunately, we lack the resources to provide these experiences regularly.
With your support, we can equip our classroom with essential lab materials—beakers, safety goggles, reaction kits, and more—allowing students to fully engage in hands-on chemistry.
