My Project
Aloha! As a new teacher, I hope to create a classroom that is engaging and welcoming to all students. Having a kidney table gives students a small group instruction opportunity as well as an area that they can work together in the classroom.
By providing alternative seating, we are supporting movement needs, and helping students to be more focused on the instruction in the classroom.
Flexible seating is something that helps all students. I have bands on some chairs to help with fidgeting, but some still struggle to sit still. These chairs would help students who need to move around or bounce around a little more.
