This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students love to explore and try to make things work, but unfortunately, I don't have many opportunities to provide them to do this in our science center due to limited resources. A lot of our science learning is done outside with natural materials, but I would love to give my students the opportunity to have more materials in the classroom for them to explore science deeper such as sinking and floating, magnets, and life cycles. This will allow my students learning to be expanded during center time and small group time. These materials will allow my children to learn how to observe, question, experiment, and test ideas which are essential keys of life that will help them be successful throughout their development.
