Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students need a fresh look in PE as their equipment is used and is worn out. This is a good problem to have as students have played hard and have used their current equipment to its fullest extent.
The new balls, are safe, untorn, and will perform true, which will provide many hours of fun and more importantly standards based skill practice for my learners.
Learners at my school are underprivileged and many have no access to sports equipment, sports teams or people to teach them or coach them while playing sports. My goal for this project is to give the students who yearn for sport play a chance to play and practice skills that can make them successful as they continue to grow as athletes. My PE class is the breeding ground for these opportunities.
