Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I am an early childhood teacher, currently in a Pre-K classroom for the school year 2019-2020. I have a class of 20 students, primarily composed of English Language Learners. We are a Title I school which means that 90% of the students receive free or reduced lunch.

I want to provide my students with the best experience possible in our classroom.

I am in need of adequate materials which will help motivate my students to be successful in and out of the classroom. With your help, I can ensure that my students are receiving the best possible education available to them.

My Project

In PreK, students are constantly making creations of their own using various materials. Currently when my students make their creations, they are laid out throughout the class to dry, with the use of a drying rack the students will be able to store their creations in a safe place to dry. When their projects are dried we can send them home or display them on our bulletin board.

Creating a more accessible creativity center is my goal.

To accomplish this, I need clear bins for the students to be able to see what materials are available. Students will have the chance to be exposed to various materials through enhancing out creativity center. Clear bins will help the students have the ability the be more creative when they can see many more materials available to them.
