This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I provide all my energy to students who range from a myriad of disabilities and personalities.

These disabilities include specific learning disabilities, autism, emotional disturbance, fetal alcohol syndrome, intellectual disabilities, and ADHD.

Most of my students require social-emotional and academic supports to access the curriculum. My students learn. Differently, they require many accommodations and resources to help them become successful. Nevertheless, working with our students is very regarding seeing them grow as a person and academically.

My Project

Reading can be fun; whole-class reading is something we missed through distance learning. Being exposed to a class set of books may be difficult to find at your school, especially when our students are not reading at grade level. Therefore I am looking forward to enhancing our class library with reading sets of high-interest books for our kiddos struggling with reading skills. Being exposed to reading is the best way to improve our reading skills through whole-class instruction, choral reading, echo reading, popcorn reading, and more! Be part of our classroom library!
