it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I am reaching out to request your support for an exciting opportunity to further enhance the environment within our Assessment and Stabilization Program (ASP). As we strive to provide the best possible care and guidance for the youth under our care, we’ve identified an essential need to update and diversify the seating arrangements in our spaces.
We are seeking funding to provide alternative seating options such as beanbags, butterfly chairs, and standing student desks.
These simple yet transformative resources will allow us to create a flexible, comfortable, and inclusive learning environment that better supports the unique needs of each student.
Why does this matter? Many of the youth we serve face emotional and behavioral challenges that can hinder their engagement in traditional settings. By incorporating flexible seating, we can help foster greater focus, self-expression, and emotional regulation, while also encouraging the development of essential social and academic skills. These changes will allow students to choose the seating arrangements that work best for their learning style, resulting in higher engagement and improved outcomes.
