This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our students deserve an enriched and engaging reading experience! We are a beautiful Title I school located in the heart of Manhattan. Kindergarten is where most of our students begin their reading identity. Each of our students have different interests and learning needs. With access to a variety of books this ensures that our students are staying motivated & growing their love of reading.
The books that are selected for this project will ensure that students are gravitating towards their classroom libraries.
These books will spark meaningful conversations and improve reading comprehension and skills.
Not only will these books live in the Kindergarten classroom libraries, students will get to take these books home to read with their families. It’s so important to start good reading habits early! Please consider donating to this project. Thank you for your partnership!
