My Students

Our Middle School students are some of the most awesome students you will ever meet. They come to school everyday ready to work despite the circumstances they may face at home. Viking students come from various types of homes, and some of the situations at home prevent them from being able to do their very best at school each day. However, we as teachers still hold our students accountable and continuously push them towards the mark.

Excellence is the only option at our middle school!

This is the message that we ingrain in our students every single day, and it becomes a part of their daily thinking with regards to themselves, with life in general, and definitely with their education. I am very proud to be a part of the Viking family, and I look forward to helping my students each day.

My Project

Nobody wants to go to math class and have to just sit there and listen to a teacher lecture all day. This is one of the main reasons why I am writing this project. To get my students actively involved in their learning each day, I am requesting whiteboards, markers, and erasers. The use of these materials will help me as a teacher to keep my students actively engaged in my lessons. Not only that, but I will also be able to determine who knows what and at which point. The whiteboards, markers and erasers will allow me to be able to better assess my students in order to better determine how I need to help them in math class. Thank you so much in advance for all of your help with this project!
