My students need several engineering themed lab activities to increase their skills during our collaborative work time. They will use the timers, notebooks and pencils during the lab activities.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Beal's classroom raised $1,225

My Students
My students are eager young learners! They are all self-enrolled in an after school engineering course as part of the districts GEMS and GISE program (girls and guys in engineering, math and science). Students arrive ready to engage in self directed work that encourages collaboration and promotes problem solving.
My students learn in a K-8 school within our large diverse city!
The students enrolled in my engineering course come from various grade levels and from different classrooms within the school. They are natural collaborators and thrive in the group setting we are creating together.
My Project
My students will increase their opportunities to build stronger engineering and group work skills when you support this project. All of the labs that are needed will do such things! Over the last few months, I have been listening to what topics and activities they are responsive to. They are interested and eager in becoming professionals in career paths that support math, science or are engineered centered.
When you donate towards this project you are supporting students that will solve a future problem.
My students have already shown interest in creating solar powered water cleaning equipment. They are conscious of the world around them and it's needs. We never know what they will experience that just might change the future.
