This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach in a special education self-contained classroom for 1st-3rd grade students. In our classroom, visual aids and hands-on activities play a crucial role in supporting the diverse learning needs of the students, as well as, enhancing student engagement. My students thrive when they have access to tools that cater to their various learning styles, helping them to better understand and retain information.

This project aims to provide a selection of visual resources such as charts, flashcards, visual timers, and interactive fine motor skills task boxes.

These materials will not only aid in instruction but also foster a more inclusive and supportive learning environment. By incorporating these visual tools we can address the unique challenges faced by our students and create a more effective and engaging classroom experience.
