it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
"I can't see," is a common phrase used in classrooms. A visual presenter would solve this problem as well as enhance their learning. Writers Workshop is an amazing tool to teach students to become writers and share their work with the class. A visual presenter can help students to showcase their work.
I work at an urban school in Illinois where 89% of the students come from a low income background.
The school has a positive community of learners k-8th grade. I have been working with them to be proud of their work and sharing their writings. The students are visual learners who are captivated by the world of technology.
My Project
My students enter second graders as timid writers. My job, as their teacher, is to create independent and confident authors/writers by the time they live my classroom. The visual presenter is an amazing tool that can assist my students in showing off their work to the class. Mini lessons can be taught on the spot as students present their writing through the visual presenter.
The visual presenter is also a great tool for teaching hands on math lessons and the use of manipulatives. Students will be able to participate in 3-D math lessons through the visual presenter.
This piece of technology can help to dive deeper into students work.
The presenter would increase students desire to write through the incentive of sharing their work on the presenter.
