My Students

We have recently implemented new reading and math programs in our school and both have a large technology component. Without a projector in our classroom my students are not able to fully utilize the program.
Our school is an inner city school in a very high poverty area.
Funding is limited which means technology in our school is very antiquated. Our students however come to school each day eager to learn and they love every opportunity they get to integrate technology into their learning.
My Project
With the projector, the students will have access to the interactive stories in both the reading and math programs. They will also have access to supplemental videos that will help the students to further understand the concepts of each unit in both reading and math.
By receiving this projector my students will have deeper access into the new reading and math programs.
Many students, at this grade level, are visual learners and a projector will help those students to better understand the curriculum and will in turn be more successful.
