Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students see the library as a safe space to go to learn, read, and create. Especially with Covid-19, our students have needed a safe place to go to express themselves creatively and to reflect introspectively. Our makerspace area gives them a creative outlet while the library environment reassures them that it’s a safe space. The fans and cables will helps students with after school activities, such as gaming club and our computer building club. The button maker and materials will be available to students before and after school to use creatively and as part of the makerspace area.
