My Project
Our band program is in need of a replacement for our Meinl Percussion Orchestra Ratchet, an essential instrument that helps create dynamic, crisp, and sustained rattle effects in our performances. This instrument is commonly used in orchestral settings and adds a unique layer of sound that enhances our music.
The orchestra ratchet allows students to produce quick, cabasa-like notes as well as long, sustained rattle effects with clear projection.
It is designed for controlled accents, making it a valuable tool for teaching precision and rhythm. With an easy-to-grip hand crank and the option to be mounted on a stand or played by hand, it provides versatility for various performance settings.
By funding this project, you will help our students continue to explore and develop their percussion skills while maintaining the quality of our band's sound.
