Enhance Learning Spanish with Bilingual Dictionaries
My students need 35 Spanish-English dictionaries.
FULLY FUNDED! Mr. Bolduc's classroom raised $453
This project is fully funded
I teach Spanish to 10th grade students at a high-need expeditionary learning school in New York.
Students have been asking for dictionaries in the classroom to facilitate their learning. Due to the budget cuts, there is a purchasing freeze. As a result, no more supplies will be purchased for the school. Being a first year teacher, I have no resources, nor the funds to purchase the dictionaries.
I am asking for 35 Spanish-English dictionaries. I serve as the only dictionary in the classroom; as a result, students become easily frustrated when their questions aren't answered. My students will greatly benefit from these dictionaries as it will allow them to fully express themselves and be more engaged with their learning.
With your help, my students will greatly benefit from your gracious donation. Especially being a school that puts great emphasis on civic leadership and stewardship, students will greatly appreciate a donation on your part. Dictionaries will allow students to be more independent in their learning, so that they can engage in student-driven learning, rather than teacher-driven learning. It is vital that my students become independent so that they may flourish in the work-place and/or at a college level.
