My Project

Using yoga balls for each student to sit on during instruction can enhance learning in several ways:

Increased Engagement: The dynamic nature of sitting on a yoga ball requires constant subtle movements to maintain balance.

This helps students to stay engaged and reduces restlessness. As a result, they are less likely to become distracted and more likely to pay attention to the instruction.

Enhanced Blood Circulation: Sitting on a yoga ball encourages students to shift their weight and adjust their seating position regularly. This movement promotes better blood circulation throughout the body, including the brain, which can boost cognitive function and concentration.

Stress Reduction: Bouncing gently on a yoga ball can be a stress-relieving activity for students. It can help release tension and reduce anxiety, making the learning environment more relaxed and conducive to effective learning.

Active Learning: Yoga balls support a more active and participatory learning experience. They can be used for various activities, such as group discussions, presentations, or problem-solving exercises. This promotes interaction among students and allows for more dynamic and hands-on learning.

Sensory Stimulation: Sitting on a yoga ball provides sensory input through touch and proprioception, which can help some students stay focused. This is particularly beneficial for individuals who may have sensory processing challenges or attention difficulties.
