My Students
My students are amazing. They are constantly coming up with new and innovative ways to create projects. Students work in groups to complete projects and rotate supervisor positions to help manage their individual skills. They use the engineering design process for all of their projects.
My students are eager to explore the world and technologies in the classroom.
In my classroom my students live by the quote, "Design. Build. Transform." We are always looking for new and innovative ways to explore technology and the world around us. I teach middle school Technology Education to all 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students. We are a public school. There are approximately 120 students in each grade level. Technology Education classes are required for all grades. We also offer two elective classes for 7th and 8th grade students.
My Project
Students will work in groups to use the design process to create new and innovative solutions to problems. They will then create their design using 3D software. They will then finish their projects by using the Laser Engraver to personalize and innovate creative solutions! This will allow them to explore the design process from beginning to end.
By giving them this opportunity you will be helping them up to envision a whole new world of engineering and creativity.
It is important for students to be able to have an end product to showcase all of their hard-work. Having an end product helps to motivate students and increases their drive to strive for more.
