This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

All the students in my class are of ethnic minorities. That said, they face many challenges ahead in life that they do not deserve. These students are caring and hardworking and deserve to have equal opportunities as others. I hope to bring all my students to grade level reading, to give them one advantage moving forward. Research shows that 1 in 4 students who do not reach grade level reading proficiency by 4th grade never will.

Please help me prevent my students from falling into this statistic by helping fund these learning resources.
