This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach Kindergarten at WP E.S. I have a great group of students this year and I would like them to have the best. I am Hispanic and my first language is Spanish. This is very useful in my 80% Spanish speaking classroom. They are very responsible and work well independently and with others. They are a great class because they are respectful, kind and work very hard. We are working on developing their English speaking skills and many of the books I purchased many years ago now need to be replaced. We also do centers and I need storage for them to find things easily and learn independence in their learning. I am so excited for this school year and I know that Donors Choose can help me to make this the best year ever! Thanks for your time.
