My Project

I am currently teaching a new English class program at Tesoro High School which includes two levels: English I Esports and Game Design for 9th-grade students, and English II Esports and Entrepreneurship. The curriculum of both classes involves the analysis of literary concepts through the lens of video games and Esports.

I have found that my students become more involved in their learning when we study video games.

Exploring classical themes through video games is a more captivating way for students to learn. Utilizing Nintendo Switches in classrooms can enhance student engagement, teamwork, and communication skills. These skills are crucial for success in Esports and English. Nintendo Switches also offer a platform for students to learn game design and entrepreneurship, equipping them with valuable skills for their future careers. Your contribution to this project will support an innovative and unique approach to education that inspires and engages students in exciting new ways.
