This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The students in my classroom live in diverse, low income households, and are English language learners. They are eager to learn, and I strive to provide them with engaging, enriched activities to help them to learn more about topics that may not be taught or discussed in their homes. My students are creative collaborators, and I hope to inspire the engineer that lives in each of them.

Legos and Magna Tiles are the most requested learning centers of my kiddos.

We will use these tools as part as our purposeful play rotations for STEM engineering activities. Thank you for any support you can provide!
