Help me give my students the tools to create and explore engineering by working together to problem solve with the To the Rescue: Engineering Aid Drop Packages.

My Students
Situated in a small town, our school is a Title I school with a high percentage of students who receive free or reduced lunch. Our classroom is full of students who have multiple abilities and are working hard to overcome many roadblocks.
Each day when my students walk into my classroom, my goal is to immerse them in meaningful experiences that will motivate and inspire them.
My team and I work hard to provide experiences that will create opportunities for growth and learning.
My Project
Our students are eager to learn and explore through Science-Technology-Engineering-Art-and-Math. They love any opportunity to be exploring and creating with hands on materials! My students also learn best when they are actively engaged and working together to create.
The "To the Rescue: Engineering Aid Drop Packages" kit will be a vital component in fostering problem solving and engineering skills for our students.
This kit will encourage students to be engineers and problem solvers. Using skills from a variety of subject areas students will engineer “aid drop packages” that can be dropped from an aircraft, protect what’s inside, and are easy to find once they reach the ground.
