My students need a Physical Science Activity Lab, a Don't Lose Your Marbles STEM Learning Lab, and reproducible activities, to be exposed to activities that promote the engineers within them.
My students have the ability to build strong reading skills, but need someone to believe in them. They enter the classroom every day, putting their best foot forward and making attempts to progress. They want to learn, they know they need to learn and I want to do the very best I can to teach them. I couldn't pick a better group of students to work with. I am very honored to be their teacher. I can't wait to see their progress.
My Project
As STEM is being introduced into the classroom, students begin to explore what it means to be a scientist and engineer. They will make predictions and test them. With the use of Don’t Lose Your Marble STEM lab, students will be given the opportunity to predict and construct designs and be able to share it with peers. The physical science activity lab will expose my students to building simple machines, the effects of force and motion and the use, function and power of electricity. As the world is constantly advancing, education within the classroom needs to be innovative. Hands on is definitely the way to go.
