Help me give my students LEGO bricks to express their creativity and expand their imagination, all while working on their fine motor skills and team building skills when they interact with others.

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As a low income school/community, students are not able to have a lot of introduction to the STEM world. We try to show them how STEM is everywhere and how it is not a male field but also female. For our youngest students in the program (PreK-1st grade) it helps them with their fine motor skills and practices their team building/sharing skills.
Our goal is to provide our students with more material to be able to help their creativity and working in groups.
This would include LEGO people and animals to help them expand their minds. All while also creating stories and helping them understand feelings and how to be empathetic towards people and animals.
Our school is a small 170+ school with primarily Hispanic and low income families. We want to provide everyone in the school with the same opportunity to introduce them to STEM.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
