My students are creative and love to color, draw and design. They love to make 3-D objects; however, I only have paper, masking tape and paper towel rolls to build with. They work so hard trying to use these primitive materials but become frustrated and sometimes give up because their project doesn't match their vision. It would be nice if they had a Lego set that would enable their creativity to flourish.
This LEGO set would be the perfect creative, durable, and reusable medium for them to build 3-D objects, bridges, and towers as part of our science curriculum and let their creativity fly to heights unknown to them now.
They could become true engineers and engage all their creative juices to design projects starting from the ground up. It will help them understand building materials, how things fit together, which materials are best for a project, and most importantly, how to plan a project.
