My students are extremely creative. This year, I am teaching engineering concepts to harness my students' creativity. They will be designing and building prototypes to solve a number of problems. In order to move forward in the their problem solving, students need a way to implement their design process.
Whiteboards are a great way for students to sketch out their thinking.
Larger boards like these will help students to share their thinking with the class and have more space to work. The hooks will help with storage under their desks. The scalpels are a cheaper alternative to Exacto knives.
Problem-solving is a skill that is valued in most careers. In this class, students will learn effective strategies for impactful problem-solving and solution development through solving real-world problems. At the end of each project, the students will self-assess through reflection techniques and seek ways to improve. Your support will help my students learn valuable skills in problem solving, setting them up for success when they head out into the real world.
