Engineering is Elementary - Bubble Wands for Second Grade

My Students
My students are caring, young scientists that are eager to learn. We are a K-5 science and technology school in an urban neighborhood. Our goal is to foster a love of learning and provide high quality, hands-on educational experiences.
Our second graders are science enthusiasts!
We all love to explore through hands-on activities while working to understand the world around us.
This year we are hoping to engineer bubble wands! We would like to use an Engineering is Elementary kit to help learn the engineering process!
My Project
How should students learn about the design process and problem solving? Through hands-on engineering! This EiE kit will provide our classroom with the tools needed for age appropriate exploration. We will be able to build, create, and problem solve. We would like to extend our engineering through of the use these materials.
This donation will allow our second grade scientists to learn through a hands-on engineering activity.
Our second graders will be able to work with EiE Bubble Wands to learn the engineering process and create design solutions to simple problems.
Our young scientists will learn through a guided exploration. By supplying an EiE kit to our classroom, students will be able to build a strong foundation for future STEAM learning.
