My Project
This project aims to ignite the innovative spirit and cultivate essential STEM skills in middle school students through the engaging platform of LEGO robotics. By participating in the FIRST LEGO League (FLL) Challenge, students will work collaboratively to identify a real-world problem, develop an innovative solution, and design, build, and program a LEGO robot to accomplish related missions. The broad goal of this activity is to foster critical thinking, problem-solving, teamwork, and communication skills within a fun and hands-on learning environment.
This project will directly benefit approximately 500 students across grades 6-8, providing them with an opportunity to explore engineering principles, develop computational thinking skills, and experience the excitement of scientific discovery.
Through the FLL Challenge, students will learn to apply scientific and mathematical concepts in a practical context, preparing them for future academic and career pathways in STEM fields. The collaborative nature of the program will also enhance their ability to work effectively in teams, communicate their ideas clearly, and respect diverse perspectives.
