This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We love engineering in our class. We've learned and worked with simple machines, magnets, and engineering challenges.
Engineering allows students to collaborate or create individually with traditional and/or unusual materials which in turn push the boundaries of their futures.
These light up blocks, kits, and materials would change how my students attack their STEM challenges. It would provide opportunities for partner work, small group collaborations, or individual and self-paced work. Altogether, we could use these on a rainy day, on a glow day celebration, or as a brain break which is always needed. Engineering is our future and that's in the hands of our students.
