Fantastic first graders! These students are amazing. In first grade the students really dig into learning to read and write, as well as learn so many amazing math skills. Their minds are fascinated by the sciences. I love the fact that I am able to work with 200 first grade students during my science time. I specialize in forces and motion and the students get to visit me for a month of science focused on this area. I want to make sure they are fully engaged and creating their own learning experiences that will one day lead to future engineers, scientists, doctors, explorers and more!
My Project
All of these science kits will supplement our science curriculum and allow for students to have hands-on experiences actually creating miniature models that demonstrate force and motion.
Young leaders and learners are waiting for the invitation to be part of something big; something that matters!
The students in first grade at our school will spend a month on each big topic in science and I want to make sure that the month they have working with force and motion is meaningful and memorable.
Please help to fund this project to create passion-fueled, future leaders in the STEM field.
