This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
As the math intervention teacher, I get the opportunity to work closely with students who benefit most from differentiated instruction and hands-on learning.
The Flexible Seating will provide students opportunities to record their math and engineering ideas on the rug, or better yet, the outdoors!
It is important for students to have multiple opportunities to be engaged in hands-on activities and participate in academic discourse. These flexible seats enable students to form quick circles on the rug or sit outside on the yard to have a conversation on their ideas and their findings.
Nearly all students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
