My Project

The students in this classroom have such great imaginations that we should celebrate and utilize. We are creating complex thinkers and having fun at the same time!

The students also would like to express themselves through art.

There are so many amazing artists who create wonderful drawings. These students are ready to take their creativity to the next level with other art materials. The googly eyes, popsicle sticks, and pompoms can be used for abstract art pieces. The paint, crayons, and markers can assist in 2D art projects coming to life!

We have many upcoming engineering projects in the 4th quarter. One example is that students will create a natural disaster proof house using recycled material. Students use the popsicle sticks and paint to create their houses to withstand rain, wind, and earthquakes. The leaf blower is used to mimic the wind during a hurricane. If the house falls over or the roof blows off, the students know that their house would not be able to stay strong in a hurricane.

In addition to the art supplies that our classroom needs, our classroom also need extra supplies such as composition tables, personal pencil sharpeners, and storage bins. These items help individualize student learning while keeping them organized and independent.
