Engine Technology Socket Sets

My Project

My engine technology students learn the workings of a single cylinder four stroke engine through classroom work, as well as various labs. As they work on these labs, they go through a step by step process, answering questions and taking measurements, among other things, while they work. In order to work on the engines, the groups have to systematically disassemble the engine. In order to do this, they have to use a variety of sockets with a ratchet. Most all of our "sets" are disorganized and a hodgepodge of incomplete sockets that go back several decades in age. These new socket and ratchet sets would help alleviate a lot of lab time stress, not to mention a lot of wasted time in class, looking for the correct socket, or borrowing one from another student.
