Help me give my students Amazon Fire 7 tablets to help engage them while learning basic literacy and math skills.

My Students
My students are 4-6 year olds that are at a Title I school. The students at my school are considered to be at-risk. We have students living in low income housing with some even living in hotels. Free breakfast is given to every student and free and reduced lunch is offered to every student. At the end of the day these students still come to school ready and eager to learn. Let’s help make learning fun and engaging for them.
My Project
Having technology in the classroom opens the door to a wide range of learning resources that can help children in their most formative stages of academic development. Tablets are the ideal way to integrate this type of technology in the learning process, especially when dealing with younger children.
I'm requesting four Amazon Fire 7 Kids Edition tablets for my classroom.
Kids love being able to use touch screen devices. These Fire 7 tablets are easy to use and there is no need to navigate a complex keyboard or control a mouse. It is important to note that most of these students have never encountered a desktop or laptop computer. So you can imagine the task of trying to teach them how to navigate a keyboard and mouse when they are still trying to learn basic letter recognition.
More than three‑quarters of students from low‑income households
Data about students' economic need comes from the National Center for Education Statistics, via our partners at MDR Education. Learn more
