My Students
My students come from low-income families but they still come to school every day ready to get their education. Not only do they come to school, but they are excited to learn and they deserve every opportunity to do so. The school is a Title 1 school and we strive to provide as much as possible for our students. Most times this comes from my own pocket, so any support would be greatly appreciated! I am trying to provide a safe, fun, and caring environment so the students can grow to their highest potential.
These students deserve any opportunity we can give them to make education enjoyable and exciting!
The students in my classroom are considerate, creative, and compassionate. They love engaging lessons and activities where they can use their sense of creativity, show their personalities, and use multiple learning styles. Every day they are excited to show what they know!
My Project
Having an easel in our classroom will allow the students to be a part of meaningful, hands-on activities whether it be whole-group, independent, or small-group instruction. The easel will also provide a space for us to create anchor charts together.
An easel is a wonderful way to create interactive learning opportunities!
The easel will be used to complete activities during both literacy and math centers, interactive writing, and making anchor charts.
Anchor charts can be hung around the room for students to refer back to throughout the year. These visual displays are a very powerful learning tool so having a sturdy spot to make these will ensure they are a wonderful addition to our classroom walls.
