This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My kindergarten classroom is filled with bright, curious learners who are just beginning their educational journeys.

At this critical stage, it’s essential to provide them with tools that engage their creativity, support early literacy, and build organizational habits that will help them succeed.

Young learners are highly engaged by interactive and tactile learning experiences. These LCD writing tablets will provide my students with an engaging, mess-free way to practice writing, drawing, and letter formation. Whether they are practicing sight words, drawing shapes, or exploring early math concepts, these reusable tablets will allow them to actively participate and express their ideas in creative ways.

The essential reading toolkits include activities for phonemic awareness success. Based on the Science of Reading, it includes manipulatives, elkonin boxes, and letter sounds. These resources will be used in small group instruction to support differentiated learning, ensuring each student receives the targeted support they need to develop strong reading skills.

Staying organized is key, even for our youngest learners. The zipper mesh bags will help students keep their reading toolkits and math tools organized and ready for use. With these bags, students can independently manage their learning materials, fostering a sense of responsibility and building organization skills that are vital for future success.
