Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach a self-contained classroom. Students in my classroom require structured settings for their learning, communication and behavioral needs. One of the main focus for this year in my classroom is to promote and encourage independence. Majority of my students need help to learn how to stay on task, focus and complete a task.

These task boxes can cover a variety of skills and meet students at their instructional level.

It promotes and encourages independence, as the students takes the task out of the box, completes it, and puts it away with minimal or no guidance. The boxes are visual and filled with fun tasks and activities.

The physical materials are used to help make the boxes while the TPT gift card will be used to purchase meaningful digital materials that are just right for each student that will be using them.
