Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love that my students respect me because I respect them. I set high expectations for all my students no matter what their level, and I set even higher expectations for myself. My students learn to love the challenges I set for them. Slowly, but surely we all reach these goals. My students come with many challenges due to language barriers and home life.
I know that the supplies will help my students learn and interact in a fun, yet educational manner that will help them internalize what is being taught.
I incorporate interactive journaling in all subject areas. We create vivid, engaging activities in all subjects. The colored paper, markers, crayons, scissors, and glue will help them to create these fun foldables, interactives, and drawings that we do. Students learn so much from these. This learning will stay with them forever.
