My Project

My students are curious, eager to learn kindergarteners. For some of them this is their first real experience with reading materials. Scholastic News opens up a wealth of worldly information that is highly motivating to learn and read about. Scholastic News takes information we are learning in class and makes it exciting especially for reluctant readers. Through engaging videos, puzzles, trivia questions, and decodable reading passages the students will look forward to their reading journey. What I love most about Scholastic News is that it can be differentiated for each learner. Through the digital component students can listen to the words being read aloud while other students may want to read independently.
