My Students
My fifth grade ICT (Integrated Co-Teaching) students are ready to virtually face each and every day with excitement. My class consists of Special Education students, ENL (students learning English for the first time), students of all levels, most of whom have recently arrived in New York City, and a few general education students. All of my students love to learn and many of them are kinesthetic or visual learners.
I want to give each of my students the foundation that they need so that they can aspire to be anything that they want to be and overcome any obstacles or challenges they may face along the way during these uncertain times.
My Title l school in Flushing, Queens has been working on social-emotional wellness by implementing Ruler. We recognize the importance of being mentally and emotionally healthy by connecting with one another.
My fifth graders and future students will greatly benefit from your help by allowing them to receive the materials that they need in order to be successful.
My Project
School has become extremely different in this past year for us for both teachers and students. This has been a challenge for me as an educator because it is my job to make my students as engaged and excited about learning as I am!
Teachers Pay Teachers gift cards will help me have access to digital resources that will help reach the wide variety of learners in my class by giving them access to a multitude of engaging and fun activities that will help them progress and get ready for Middle School.
5th grade is a tough year to be a student during this pandemic as it is their last year of Elementary school, and it's such a special and pivotal time in their young lives. I want to spark a love of learning in them and help them be successful learners. I have been using Teachers Pay Teachers for many years, and I find the resources to be very helpful and exciting because all of the resources have been designed by teachers themselves.
