My Project
For the past few years, students have been reading Things Fall Apart in their sophomore-year English classroom. I teach an instructional version of the English class with all students who have IEPs and reading disabilities. While Things Fall Apart is a great novel it does not pique the interest of my students.
When Stars are Scattered is a reading level appropriate for my students and a fast pace graphic novel.
My students voted on wanting to read this book this semester and they are excited that it is a graphic novel!
