This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Speech and language therapy should be fun and engaging for all students. If we can’t get our students to actively participate in sessions, it becomes difficult to teach them the tools necessary to be successful, not only in the speech room, but also in their natural environments.
I am requesting items that promote fun learning and good behavior.
In addition to the desire of learning to communicate more effectively, items such as reward charts, stickers, and prizes give students a clear goal to work towards. Behavior that is conducive to learning is a critical component that I strive to promote, this helps ensure that my students benefit and take full advantage of every minute they are in therapy.
